The location is stunning, with easy access to nature where we spotted various wildlife, including kingfishers and hornbills. The staff, particularly Wisinee and Ning, provided exceptional service, making our stay memorable. The Avani Superior Sea View Room offered breathtaking views, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.

The spa treatments were decent but not up to the expectations of a 5-star resort.

The sprawling grounds blend seamlessly with lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere unlike the typical concrete jungle of other resorts. The pool access from our room gave us a private retreat for quick dips without the need to trek to a crowded pool area.

The private beach area is quite small and rocky, limiting sunbathing opportunities, which might not be ideal for everyone. Expect a bit of a hike for meals or recreational activities, as the layout requires using buggies to navigate from your room to the main facilities, which can disrupt the flow of your day. Some parts of the property carried unpleasant odors, and certain amenities, like the gym equipment, seemed outdated and in need of attention.

The resort offers stunning sea views, especially from the Reggae Bar, where watching the sunset is a memorable experience. The pool area is immaculately maintained, and the diverse seating options provide perfect spots to enjoy drinks. The food quality is commendable, especially the seafood buffet, which was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast items cool quickly, so timing is key to enjoy them warm.

My group had an unforgettable 5-night stay in a Sea View Pool Villa, which offered breathtaking views of the ocean and a private pool that was just perfect for relaxing. The breakfast spread was delightful, particularly the freshly made pastries and options that catered to various tastes. The staff went above and beyond, especially the bar team who crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tasted, all while providing a welcoming atmosphere. While the location was peaceful, I would have appreciated a bit more variety in dining options during dinner.

had a really amazin time at the avani+ koh lanta! the staff were super friendly, especially wisinee and ning who made our stay super special. the wildlife around the resort was awesome, we saw eagles and big lizards! the avani superior sea view room had the best views and was really comfy. loved chillin at the little beach and watching the sunsets every evening.

only a couple things to complain about, the spa was kinda pricey and the massages were hit or miss. also, the breakfast could've had more variety.

The seaview from the room was just breathtaking! Waking up to that every day was pure bliss. Just a small glitch with the room's light and fan not working properly. a fantastic stay! 🌅

Just an optimal selection for a swift stopover in Koh Lanta with good value for money. The large terrace with a gorgeous view made our mornings special. Make sure to take the tuk-tuk into Saladan for great local restaurants.
